24 Oras

24 Oras is a Philippine television newscast show, started on March 15, 2004 and broadcast by GMA Network. This show is directed by Joel San Luis on weekdays and Lino Dayao on weekends. 24 Oras aired special weekend editions when it’s necessary and on weekdays this show presented by Mei Tiangco, Mike Enriquez, Vicky Morales and on weekend presented by Pia Arcangel. On September 2004, 24 Oras was the most-watched primetime news cast and listed in top 10 Pinoy TV rating from the AGB Nielsen. In April 2006, management relaunched this show with new graphics package, new floating set and a rear projection screens to talk with anchors for live feeds. On August 11, 2008, again the show relaunched with multi-million peso studio set using LED, new desk used by CBS Evening News, new titles, new slogan “Tahananng Katotohanana and new graphics.
In 2010, the coveregae of hostage-taker ate up its primetime block but on December 6, 2010 again the news program OBB, title card and the graphics. In 2012, 24 Oras introduced new weather segment that was necessary for any news show. On June, 2018 management again changed few graphics in which they transferred their logo on the right side and removed their time display. 24 Oras team trying to make changes time by time as per new challenges of media graphic designs and also trying to give special prgrams on weekdays and on weekend.
